CERES DAY CELEBRATION DETAILS
On Saturday, May 6, 2017, the annual Ceres Day celebration will be held on the former Ceres School Campus. Sausage biscuit and gravy breakfast and bake sale will be provided by the Ceres Alumni Association in the gym starting at 8:00 AM. The Ceres Ruritan Club will provide an old fashion bean and cornbread lunch and desserts at 12:00 noon in the Community Center cafeteria. Exhibit demonstrations will start at 10:00 AM. Flea Market starts at 8:00 AM. Sign up for children's activities by 11:00 AM.

The day will be filled with lots of activities including heritage demonstrations, antique tractors, farm implement displays and health care services. Craft vendors, flea marketers and yard sales will offer treasured items for your shopping enjoyment. Plan to spend some time visiting the Museum. CHICKEN B-B-Q

CHICKEN BBQ and Bouncy House
The Ceres Alumni Association will sponsor a Chicken BBQ at the Ceres Peery Center Gym on May 20th, starting at 5:00 PM. NEW THIS YEAR, we have a bouncy house for small children. Come out for an enjoyable evening of good food and fellowship. The price of the meal is by donation. Funds raised will help support the upkeep of the buildings and for utilities. 17^th ANNUAL CERES HOMECOMING

The annual Ceres Homecoming, sponsored by the Ceres Alumni Association will be held on Saturday, October 21st on the Ceres  School Campus.  Registration will begin at 10:00 am, lunch at 12:00.  Reservations for the $15 catered lunch must be made by October 7 by mail to PO Box 32, Ceres, VA 24318 or by calling 276.682.4255.  Membership in the Ceres Alumni Association is open to EVERYONE who has an interest in the Ceres Community and the area.   Come be with your friends.
