50 YEARS IN AMERICAN LEGION

The American Legion Post 20 honored Wayne Richardson of Bland with a certificate marking his 50 continuous years as a member of the American Legion. During those 50 years, Wayne has been an active and valued member holding various offices. Wayne was always behind the counter selling food at the Bland County Fair for many, many years.

Mr. Richardson proudly served his country as a member of the United States Air Force during World War II. Present on the day of the presentation was Wayne’s wife, Genevieve Richardson.
